​BPBP, short for Books International Project By People stands for 

The official national project responsible for the production and distribution
of picture books by Books International in each country is
called the National Chapter (Season 2). 

Under the common goal of "addressing educational inequality through picture books,"
BPBP serves as a platform for worldwide participation and exchange activities
where anyone can participate. BPBP provides opportunities for general citizens,
youth, and students interested in creating and distributing picture books to collaborate
autonomously and creatively. Additionally, BPBP offers children who receive the books the
chance to dream with their personalized picture books.

Furthermore, it strives to utilize local printing services in the distribution countries wherever
possible, aiming to protect local economies and contribute as much as possible to job creation for locals.


Alongside distribution activities, there are also post-reading activities, educator and librarian training,
library partnerships, and the fostering of local authors.

​In this way, BPBP is a core project of Books International aimed at sustainable
development for children, youth, citizens, and locals alike.
